Texture Rubbing Workshop
Interested in Art? Nature? In coloring outside the lines? Then this workshop is for you.
Sinclair’s Natural Texture Rubbing Workshop is designed for kindergarten to middle school-aged kids. Most recently held at Hawthorn Hollow’s Nature Center this type of art is easily adaptable to all lesson plans and encourages outside-the-box thinking. For ages 3 to 6 only scribbling skills are required, for ages 9 to 13 reimagine the solar system using prepared tree stumps. By the end of this workshop, kids will return home to show off their new nature art and hopefully will have learned to appreciate nature's repeating patterns.
